If the life one lives is summed up by looks, perceptions, ear hustling, gossip, perceived notions, the number of friends we have, our mistakes, our misunderstandings, past relationships, whether we’re in a relationship, or the number of exciting things we do….we would all be doomed. People; judgmental, but severely imperfect with expectations they can’t themselves meet. Watching how others walk, talk and move, while tripping over their own feet. Perfect faces who have been or still might dwell in a few dark places. People; if I always talked like the world I would say “they kill me” but humility and transparency allow me to clearly see that they are imperfect just like me.
Work on being your own highest and best self. The only shade you should see is like the shade I see when I’m at the beach, in the sun, looking at my own shadow of me. This can’t be thrown, caught or misdirected because you’re to busy keeping your eyes on the face…of the Author and the Finisher of your Faith and because you are Protected.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23 NIV)
But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7 KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2 KJV)
