True Friendship is not only measured by what a person says or does in your presence or the truth they tell when you’re present.

The true measure of a friendship happens when things are said about you when you’re not around.

Your true friend morphs into a paid attorney, putting up a strong defense for you when someone comes for you and you’re not there to defend yourself. They also hold your secrets in confidence like attorney/client privilege.

Off, Unchallenged Thinking

How do you ever know your thinking or actions are off if no one ever tells you. Sometimes we think our learned and established behavior or thought patterns are wise and correct. Truth be told, we ALL need that someone who is unbiased and cares enough to challenge our possibly wrong thinking/behavior. Woe be it unto the man who is never challenged in that manner or never challenges those close to them. ~Iron Sharpens Iron~BHicks

Not For Every One, Just The One

I saw this photo from Shawn McKenzie and loved it. I wrote some encouraging words below it for women like this. I  pray it blesses you. The revelation blessed me.

If you are this, understand that every man is not looking for this. Make sure you’re ok with that fact and remember to not take a step back waiting for someone who doesn’t understand the value of this, to catch up. They just may not be in to you, or ready for you, or just not checking for you. That’s ok. If there is only one for you that means don’t gaze into the eyes of every man in the multitude wondering if he is the one. It may sound cliche but fix your eyes on GOD. If you deal in Faith you know HE will not make you ashamed, HE knows what you need, want and how to give it to you. HE is your Father. Your greatest champion who knows and calls you by name. Speak your name and who you are and what GOD has Himself said about you. It will help you to remember you’re worthy. As for me, my name is Bridgette. Though I had strayed I am called and chosen. I am waiting, I am patient, I am grateful and I Am LOVE.

Go With a Purpose

For those of us who say, “Send me LORD, I’ll go” understand that it’s not rhetoric. It is an actual request to be taken to a place where GOD wants you to go. It’s not always the most opportune time or place, you may not see all the provision right away, you may not know why, who or what. Just Trust. Be agreeable to go, to stay, agreeable to let transition take place. It’s an uncomfortable place. It’s initially confusing, it can be lonely and sometimes you’ll feel lost. Persevere, Press and Position yourself in the Power of your Faith, the reason you initially decided to say, “Send me LORD, I’ll go”. There is Purpose of the likes you have never seen in the place that you journeyed to in Faith. GODS saying, “Don’t believe me? Just watch”.“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”       ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
And I add: also those who have Faith in HIM.

Purposed Plans

Somethings go as you planned or imagined, other things don’t.
In the things that don’t you must always know that it’s for purpose.
Note to self: Get out of your feelings to get/stay in your purpose. In your purpose is where you are reminded that GOD can do Exceedingly, Abundantly, Above all you can ask for, plan for, imagine or ever think of.

Yes, HE can do far more than even you with your creative mind, active imagination, and high hopes for people, places, love and things can ever think to desire. And HE can do it Suddenly….

Single For Purpose

Most GODLY, Good, Whole women are not single for an extended amount of time because something is wrong with them. Most GODLY, Good, Whole women are single because they have learned. They have learned that the way they did things when they were not in relationship with GOD or not yet whole no longer satisfied them. They learned that time without a significant other or husband is GODS development time. Time for GOD to develop their gifts, give them confidence, birth their purpose, help them pursue their dreams, give them power to intercede, give them resources to help others, give the desire for them to live their best life and take them through the fire so that they may come out as pure gold.

In living ones best life you become whole. Whole is lacking or needing nothing. In your wholeness is where you attract what’s GODS best for you and are able to share GODS best you with others. In your wholeness is where everyone that sits at your table is fed the good of GODS Land. At your table they will find JOY, PEACE, LOVE, LAUGHTER, WISDOM, HOPE, GOOD HEALTH, POWER, PURPOSE, COMPASSION, REVELATION, TRUTH and GOD.

Never believe that relationship status means one is whole. Broken pieces seek out other broken pieces believing they can crazy glue the pieces of themselves to another to make a whole structure. It’s a hard situation because both are still broken in their own right and need to find and repair the missing pieces of their own life before they can truly become one with another. But GOD.

Take time off….time off from mingling broken spirits because spirits do transfer. Take time off to rid yourself of old spirits…because they do stay with you. Take time off so that when GOD sends someone you’ve rid your mind of comparisons, which can steal the moment of knowing. learning and growing into something new. Take time off so you can be whole…lacking nothing.

Now back to that single lady. Always know that she is GODLY, Good, Whole, Wise and Confidently waiting on GOD to send her the PROMISE. Just like the servant in Matthew 25:23 GOD is going to say to her “well done”. Take some time alone and watch HIM do the same for you.

How Will Your Life’s Story Read?

Never take pages from anyone else’s book to write your life’s story. In reading another’s book, there may be similar challenges and experiences to compare. If given a full analysis of one’s story compared to your own, you will note that never were those like situations approached or encountered with the same like thoughts, purpose or even intent. We may all come to the same place at a point in time, but for sure we will get there by a very different path.

Your time on this earth is fleeting and as such it’s a terrible thing to waste. Spend your time chasing your own personal purpose and destiny. What another may have, is doing or desires may look and sound wonderful, for them. But what is the purpose and what are the plans that GOD may have for you? This is what you should pursue.

What are the pages of your life’s book saying? How will your life read? Make your book a best seller, even if just for yourself.

LORD Send Me!

Sometimes do you ever wonder if you’re preaching to the wrong crowd?

GOD place me in the places and around those persons that through you I can affect change in. I do not want to cast my good pearls before bad swine and I do not want to stay around people and places only because I’m comfortable. I want to be where there is purpose. Places where I can maximize my GOD given potential and help others develop in their purpose. I desire to see others desire to not just live, but pursue their passion, and understand and believe in your promises. LORD send me to these places, even if only for a short time.
In JESUS Name I Pray….AMEN…

Actively seek to not be idle…

Been on the hustle and bustle all week. Worked six days, gym four days, worshipped two days, explored three days, visited two days…soooo needless to say…after church…I cooked a few viddles and kicked up my feet. Yeehaw! Or better yet, Woosah!

Then back at it again next week.

An idle mind…an idle body…an idle spirit is…what makes the adversary a happy camper. he camps out in your mind with negative thoughts, camps out in your body with sickness & pain and camps out in your spirit seeking to steal your joy.

This is why it’s important to seek GOD for your purpose. Important to Believe in your dreams. Important for you to believe GOD to help fulfill your dreams. If your dream is to finish your degree, then you’re hitting the books and your mind is not idle but active. If your dream is to lose weight or get healthy them you’re hitting the gym and your body is not idle but active. If you’re focused on fulfilling GODS purpose for your life them you are filling your spirit by reading and listening to HIS Word. Your spirit is not idle, but actively being filled with the fullness of JOY.

Let your active mind, life and spirit be GODS workshop.

Don’t look back

Life can be challenging.

Sometimes in life GOD will take away everything dear to us. Most times we don’t understand. All the time we want it all back. We want our old comfortable existence back. But what GOD wants, is to prepare us for the “New”.

In order to do that a refining process must take place. This process involves removing people, places, things, habits and thoughts that keep us from a deeper relationship with GOD. The removal of every interest or inclination that has kept us in a place we unknowingly, or even knowingly had outgrown.

Lets stop being resistant to our change. We hinder ourselves by constantly turning around, looking back and reaching back for what GOD purposefully put behind us to prepare us for what lies ahead of us.

I’m often reminded of a powerful sermon given by my pastor Jeffrey Reaves a few years ago on the first Sunday of that year. In the message he was persistently thought invoking with this special announcement: “GOD wants you…to make a NEW start!” This message spoke volumes then, and it still does. So on that note I would like to make an announcement:

“GOD wants you….to make a New Start!”

And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” (Revelation 21:5 NLT)

I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 GWT)
